Not All Sugars Are Created Equal: Conquer Junk Food Addiction In 2 Weeks!
At 14 - I'd eat 30g+ of sugar daily from junk food.
Me & my friends would sometimes rob sweets from the store.
Eventually - I got caught & they banned me!
We had no reason to steal. It was stupid. We'd rob huge chocolate bars & fizzy drinks.
Consuming these messed up our energy levels & ability to learn at school.
No wonder I felt tired all the time!
What I didn't realise (at the time) is that it's not "sugar" that's the main issue.
Not all sugars are created equal.
“There is sugar in everything, it doesn’t matter what you eat in life, there is sugar in it”
It's processed ingredients such as:
High fructose corn syrup
Processed soya (lowers t levels)
Aspartame
And many more
That are the problem!
Scientists made these artificial ingredients in a lab.
Our body don’t like to digest that sh*t.
But why do they add those ingredients in then?
To make these snacks “hyper” addictive to increase profits.
Something I learned about myself over Christmas:
I can go months without binging junk food.
𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑠 𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑏𝑖𝑡𝑒?
I feel compelled to eat 99 biscuits (minimum).
Do you guys relate?

For many companies - these added ingredients lead to added profits (as more people binge eat).
But for you?
Lowered productivity
Increased brain fog & fatigue
Lowered physical performance in the gym
Snacks don’t have to cause these issues.
Check out my newsletter post on 3 healthy snacks to ease your sweet tooth.
Scientists have spent 100s of hours doing experiments ~optimizing~ junk food to make it as addictive as possible.
Yet we can still completely conquer junk food.
There are 2 proven methods to conquer junk food (I prefer method 2).
1) Keep them out your cupboards.
If you can’t do that - then avoid opening the cupboards in the first place.
You will get less “unstoppable” cravings for junk food if you can’t see junk food.
You’ll simply think about it less.
2) Fight junk food head on.
Get your favourite junk food item (make sure you LOVE eating it).
Maybe for you it’s:
Cadbury chocolate
Custard cream biscuits
Snickers chocolate bars
Put the item in front of you. And just look & observe it.
Feel into that desire, focus on it, meditate on it, journal on it.
Engage your rational mind as much as possible & understand that it’s just a desire.
Understand that you don’t have to be a b*tch to that desire.
Leave it on the desk throughout your day.
Teach yourself to overcome the desire for your favourite junk food. And then junk food will have less control over you!
Sugar Free
Foods that claim to be sugar free are a scam.
Sugar free chocolate bars
Sugar free sweets
Fizzy drinks e.g. diet coke
Many sugar free products are packed with non-natural sweeteners.
Such as aspartame which messes with your cognitive health. Stay clear of artificial sugars.
Why do you even need sugar free products?
Remember that natural sugar itself isn’t a problem (in moderation).
Important caveat: Enjoy unhealthy foods in moderation (especially as a treat to cherish with others!)
That's a wrap!
