Drop The Soap

Drop The Soap (Literally)

The Average Soap Bar

Have you ever looked at the ingredients list of the bar soap you’ve been using for the past decade?

If not then you should!

It would help if you had also looked into the impact of those chemicals.

But not to worry.

Let me help you out.

These are the main ingredients to avoid:

  • Parabens

  • Fragrances or Perfume

  • Sulfates (especially SLS which stands for sodium lauryl sulfate)

Let me go through each one.

Parabens

Parabens are known endocrine disrupters.

What does this mean?

It means they f*ck with the balance of your hormones.

(Including your testosterone)

Using products with parabens a couple times won’t do that much.

But across a few months & years?

Bound to have a significant effect on you!

Especially if you’re rubbing the soap ALL over your body.

(Including your balls).

Parabens are also considered potential carcinogens meaning they increase your risk of developing cancer when you’re older.

F*ck these parabens.

Fragrance

When the ingredients list says fragrance it should be a red flag.

Unless the packing specifically tells you that the product is natural -

Then it’s probably filled up with a fuckton of unnatural chemicals.

You see, companies don’t have to legally specify what ingredients are in their fragrance.

They can just put the word fragrance.

Fragrance likely means a cocktail of damaging chemicals.

Some might be endocrine disrupters, some might be carcinogens!

Yum.

If you’ve ever developed bodily acne, dry skin, or random rashes on your body -

It’s likely due to random unnatural chemicals in the fragrance that your body doesn’t vibe with.

Also -

Because these chemicals fuck with your hormones.

This may partly explain the random bouts of lethargy

That you feel throughout the day

Sulfates

Sulfates in soap generally do the same bad things.

One that you should ALWAYS avoid is sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)

This one is especially bad for your skin.

It rips your skin of its natural oils & fucks with its pH balance. This makes your skin look less healthy over time.

Side Note:

Avoid these ingredients in shampoos, skincare products, hair conditioner etc

They are generally bad for the health of your skin & hair.

You should opt for more natural products.

Next Step:

Invest in more natural hygiene products.

Look through the ingredients list and make sure it doesn’t contain these sorts of chemicals.

(That is if you care about the safety of your future self)

Here is the soap & shampoo that I use 👇🏾

This one will last you at least a few months.

It’s super good for limiting hair fall.

Hope you found that valuable!

As always I appreciate you :)

Love

Jay.
